Information you enter into the tools
Names or nicknames, dates, check-ins, urges, notes, unsent letters, and memory-vault entries are stored in your browser using local storage. The site does not provide account-based cloud sync for this information.
How to remove local data
Use the tracker’s reset control or clear site data in your browser settings. Clearing browser storage, using a private browsing session, or moving to another device can remove or hide locally saved entries.
Basic site events
If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, returning browsers, and basic tool use, such as creating a tracker, saving a check-in, or using a calculator. We send these event names without your inputs: names, dates, emotional scores, notes, letters, and memory-vault contents are not sent to Google Analytics. Page addresses sent by our analytics configuration exclude query strings and fragments.
Google processes technical information about visits, such as browser and device information, approximate location, and a cookie identifier. This helps recognize a returning browser, not reliably identify a person across devices. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our configuration. Hosting and network data
Like most websites, the hosting and network providers may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamp to deliver, secure, and operate the site. Their handling of this data is governed by their own policies.
Cookies
Core tools use local browser storage and do not require analytics cookies. Google Analytics is loaded only after you allow analytics; it can then set cookies beginning with _ga. Your analytics choice is saved locally. You can decline or withdraw consent using “Analytics preferences” in the footer of any page. Withdrawing stops analytics and clears these analytics cookies on this site; it does not delete data already processed by Google. Declining does not limit the tools.
Sensitive information
Do not enter passwords, payment information, legal documents, health records, precise addresses, or information that could put you or another person at risk. The tools are intended for short personal notes and dates, not secure document storage.
Changes to this page
This page will be revised when the site begins using a new data processor or changes how tool data is stored. The effective date at the top will change when the policy changes substantially.
